Mission Statement: Uglemetan aims to be a highly comprehensive
company to benefit the local and global environment whilst using the world's
cutting edge technologies in transforming coalbed and coal mine methane
(CBM/CMM) from a mining safety nuisance into a valuable and viable energy
resource.
Uglemetan - International Coal & Methane Research Center is a not-for
-profit organization with an inspired and people-driven approach to promote
CBM/CMM recovery and utilization in Russia and in the Commonwealth of
Independent States.
Employing its main tool, the developed outreach program, that covers
the Russia's CBM/CMM resources estimate and definition of the most effective
ways of their exploitation in Kuzbass area, Uglemetan offers a complete
package of services and activities that make the industry development
possible, including nomination and development of investment projects,
language services of logistical/ business operation nature, introduction
of advanced technologies and execution of testing on filtering and reservoir
properties of coal and gas deposits.
Basic efforts are directed to provide CBM/CMM projects related essential
information and analytical services to interested parties. The customers
and stakeholders include public organizations, government agencies, coal
mining companies and potential investors.
Uglemetan cooperates with all key stakeholders and also strives to be
a committed advisor in eliminating political, institutional, technical
and technological barriers in major aspects of coal mine methane recovery
and utilization.
